FAMILY TREE WINDSOR

My Grandfather Francis Windsor.Here with his older brother Mark Windsor Baptised at High Ham Somerset, on Christmas day in 1852,one of nine children,his parents were William&Eliza(nee Hurd) Windsor from High Ham.His father William died in 1857 and Eliza remarried in 1870 to Mr William Clark( widower) a wheelwright from Somerton,this is where Francis lived for awhile.He later moved to Crewkerne where he met Elizabeth Scriven,

She was from Avening,in Gloucestershire.Francis at that time was a carpenter and Elizabeth was in service as a cook to a family at "Ashwells" in Crewkerne.They were married in Gloucestershire in 1887 and set up home at 7 Hermitage terrace , Crewkerne,and had three children.Francis died the Twentyfirst of June 1937 at Crewkerne and was buried alongside his late wife Elizabeth at Crewkerne Cemetary, who was buried in May 1926
