| This is my Grand mother Elizabeth Anne Scrivens.
Born Downs Farm, Miserden, on Gloucestershire, July 26th,1857. Her parents were Charles&Sarah Scriven. Charles was employed as a shepherd, and lived at various locations around the Cotswolds during his marriage.When Elizabeth was older she went into service, as a cook, to a solicitor at Ashwell Crewkerne in Somerset, where she met my Grandfather Frances Windsor,a Carpenter. |

They were married at Michampton ,Gloucester,on the 3rd March 1887,
and lived in Crewkerne,Somerset,at 57 Hermitage Street,and there they raised three children. William,Ada and Frederick George. Elizabeth died in 1926 on the 3rd of May, and was buried at the local cemetery. |
